Need urgent help with Dog hat design!!!
I need your help! Having become obsessed with my uncle pooch Toto, a Yorkshire Terrier I feel he needs/must have a pixie hat. He is very perkie, and reminds me of an elf. I am sooo busy with college, I haven't had time to sit down and try designing a hat from scratch for him. I was thinking it should be pixish with some side coverage to not make the ties like odd. Of course going to need to do some short row shaping etc, to make slots for his ears to poke through.
I came across this pattern, thinking of buying it and making changes to it when I get to the ear section.
What do you think? could it work? or is there too much rib action going on in the picture?
i don't have a picture of Toto, but found on the web some pictures of his peeps so you can get inspired.

HA HA. You just reminded me of a lady I saw in the mall this weekend. She was pushing a Yorkie in a Hot Pink DOG STROLLER! I couldn't help but laugh out loud. The dog was sitting up with such a sense of entitlement, there was no question as to who was really pushing the stroller.
Anyhoo, said yorkie was wearing some type of pink marabou head thingie and it looked pretty darn cute.
Something about yorkies and marabou...
BTW, is that a real baby? It looks kind of creepy.
In the top pic, is what I hope is a doll. I've been looking at the patterns on ebay for a while. Or is bordering too closely to Children of the Corn? If they were to show them as infants ;)
Yeah, this Yorkie has seduced he with his charm. I've been able to get him to calm alittle. Been doing a little psychology on him. He's had a lot of change in one year. His human mom, left deciding she didn't want to be married any longer. Left everything behind including her dog and daughter. lol. the daughter has grown up (19), so doesn't have time for him. Poor Toto went from a house full of people and action to a nervous wreck who most likely feels left behind. He's lonely, and having the house for sale (strange people in and out) is freaky. Ahhh, he just deserves better.
