My unproductive knitting

• i am currently separated from my stash.
• I bought more stash
• Got caught and it was removed from my current temporary pitstop.
• Was able to keep what was in my super roomie bag smith canvas bag.
• Was stressed after a long day of classes on Thursday night and spent 2 hours in Walmart.
• bought Red Heart Mutlicolor in 3 colors one skein each for charity knitting: blankies for local animal shelters. i donate them in memory of my Gizmo who passed away almost a year ago.
• Also purchased a 1lb cone of Peaches & Creme in Peppercorn ombre. Like i really need that much cotton and plan on making that many dishclothes!
• Also in the cart Caron's Simply Soft. 3 colors, 1 skein each chocolate, bone, and sage. to make a sampler afghan. Not sure which one yet. Bought a crochet booklet: 63 easy to crochet pattern stitchs, would require me learning as i go. have wanted to do crochet for a long time, just haven't gotten the hang of it. Or I have Barbara Walker's Learn-to-knit Afghan Book, it is a very good book with a lot to learn. This book can challenge even the veteran knitter.

So do I do the crochet leran as i go afghan? it calls for 3 colors which i have.

or

Do I do the Barbara Walker Afghan? It calls for a total of 5 colors. Would need to run out and pick 2 more colors. hmmmmm shopping.............
